Item Description :
This is a vintage Japanese copper incense burner, which was made
by the 1st class artisan, Kosai Sano (1944- )
about 30 years ago.
He is the 1st class potter.  The Emperor Hirohito officially visited him and purchased some of his works. He also won a lot of famous Japanese art prizes.
Many flying cranes & a turtle are molded on the body. This is made of alloyed copper.
The signature of the artisan is engraved on the bottom.
