This is a vintage Japanese high-class lacquered incense case, which was made
about 40-50 years ago.
This is made of KANSHITSU process (made of the compound mixed with wooden chips & lacquer), and coated with high quality Japanese lacquer.
An egg plant (NASU) is molded.
It's very real and excellent work.
The  wooden storage box (no signature) is also included.
