    Item Description :
    This is a Japanese pottery Sake bottle of Bizen Ware,
    which was
    made by the 1st class potter, Fumio Mistuke (1939-)
    about 30 years ago.
    His work was officially sent to the Prime Ministor, Yasuhiro Nakasone in 1982.
    The signature of the potter is carved on the bottom.  The original wooden box with the signature is also included.

    ​Bizen ware is a type of Japanese pottery most identifiable by its ironlike hardness, reddish brown color, absence of glaze, and marklings resulting from wood-burning kiln firing.
