Item Description :
This is a vintage Japanese pottery incense case (Kogo) of Akahada ware, which was
made by a famous potter, Gyokusen Oshio
about 30-40 years ago.
A rabbit is molded.
The seals of "Akahada" and the potter are stamped on the bottom.  The original wooden storage box with the signature of the potter is also included.
Akahada ware has been made in Nara prefecture, Japan since the end of 16 century
.
