VTG Japanese Geisha Awase-Kagami Gold  Double Makeup Mirror & Vanity Set
This set includes a small makeup vanity and two hand mirrors. The vanity has two drawers in a gorgeous gold leaf
plum blossom design
with velvet liners.
The larger, front mirror is lacquered in gold in a matching plum blossom design and the back one is solid red.
This set is very beautifully made in lacquered plastic and would look stunning on your dresser or makeup vanity.
Awase-Kagami are a traditional style of Japanese mirror that is designed so that you can do the back of your hair or neck makeup using one as a hand mirror and the other as a vanity mirror. The mirrors fit together when not in use to provide a dust cover.
Kyoto's iconic Maiko and Geiko have used similar mirrors for generations and t
his would look fantastic on your vanity displayed to give a Japanese touch to your room.
