    Description

    This is a unique quilt using over 100 pieces of Japanese cotton fabric  on the back.  The front features a group of geisha (courtesans) by the Edo era Japanese artist, Utamaro.  Very elaboratly created with stitching carefully surrounding each image.  Signed on the back by the artist: F.D. Meyer in the year 1996.  Named:  Blueprint
    Having been stored for over 20 years, it remains in very fine condition.    It measures 31" x 24 1/2" (79 x 60 cm).
