Description
This is a vintage Japanese porcelain ceramic statue of a kitsune (fox) diety to the Buddhist Inari shrine. It dates to the mid Showa Era ( 1950's). He has one paw raised, in a sign of beckoning, under which he has a treasure. This Inari shrine fox statue measures 2 1/2" tall by 1" wide by 3/4" deep (6.2 x 2.5 x 2 cm). With exception to some loss to the paint, he remains in
very good condition
