    Vintage Asian Hand Carved Wood Rice Cake Mold Paddle
    Two of these molds are chickens, one is butterfly and the other looks like a fish (Koi ?) to me. These aren’t just used for rice cakes, they can also be used as bread, cookie or butter molds. I haven't been able to find much information on them but they may be made in Japan. There isn't any markings other than the designs. One looks as if it might be a little older than the other three. The three lighter ones measurer 8 3/4" long and the darker one measures 8 1/4" long. Please view all the pictures for more details.
