    Description

    Two, WRC 201A, #01A tubes, with the balloon/globe shaped glass envelope. A very rare brand. According to Gerald Tyne's, "Saga of the Vacuum Tube", these tubes were manufactured by the Conway Electrical Laboratories of East 34th St in New York City in ~1923. These are of course equivalents to the UX-201A/UX201A, CX-301A/CX301A, 01A, and 101A tubes. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. BLUE glass. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes are matched for structure- test at 1000, 900 where pass/fail is 470 micromho. The tubes have the same structure inside and out.  You are not likely to ever see another tube from this company.
