    Description

    Two, RCA 6L6G tubes, with the tall, shouldered glass envelope. These are of course exact equivalents to the 6L6 and 6L6GA tubes- but should not be used in applications calling for the 6L6GC. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes are matched for dynamic gain and structure- test at 5750, 5500 where pass/fail is 3150 micromho. The tubes have the same structure inside and out, having date codes of "X5" and "?", September-October 1939.  The second tube did not have or lost it's branding- but is quite obviously an RCA manufactured 6L6G tube of the same period.
