    Description

    Two, Arcturus 2A3 tubes. Black plates, mono/single plate, engraved logo bases. These are the finest sounding 2A3 tubes made. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes are matched for structure and dynamic gain- test at 3500, 3375 where pass/fail is 1900 micromho. One of these tubes is branded "Super Silvertone."- which is the house brand of Sears Roebuck department stores.  It was manufactured for Sears Roebuck by Arcturus, the tube manufacturer. The tubes have the same structure inside and out.
