Artwork completely intact. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 18 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.

    Here is a rare original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Jean Renoir's acclaimed WWII film,
    This Land Is Mine
    . A tale of passive resistance, this film starred Laughton as a cowardly school teacher who finds the courage to stand up against the Nazis through his love of his country and of his fellow teacher (O'Hara). This poster is from the first rerelease of the
    movie in Belgium in 1946, soon after the end of the war in Europe. It is printed on the back of a war era ordnance map. Despite the trimming of the poster's white borders, it presents very well and can easily be restored with new borders added. The beautiful
    artwork is unique to this Belgian release poster which seldom comes up for sale or auction.
