Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the first re-release of John Ford's multi-Oscar winning classic,
The Informer
. The film takes place in 1922 when an Irish rebel (McLaglen) informs on his friend and feels doom closing in.
This poster is from the post-war rerelease of the
movie in Belgium, most likely in the late Forties or early Fifties. It is in very good condition with only some slight yellowing to the paper. The striking
artwork is unique to this Belgian release poster which seldom comes up for sale or auction.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.25" x 22.75"
CONDITION:
Very Good Untrimmed Folded Condition. Untrimmed top white border has a few minor tears. A few small teas and crinkling in surrounding white borders. Overall slightest yellowing of paper. Artwork is vivid and intact. Folded in half as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 19 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
