    Original Italian Foglio Poster (28x40) for the Irving Cummings musical comedy, THAT NIGHT IN RIO (1941) [Italian Title: UNA NOTTE A RIO] starring Alice Faye, Don Ameche, and Carmen Miranda. This lively musical romp is filmed in 20th Century-Fox's idiosyncratic, some might say "garish," Technicolor. The film features the incredible Carmen Miranda in her second American film, while Ameche and Faye appear in their last film together. Although the plot seems totally implausible, the lavish production numbers make up for it. We think this is absolutely the best Carmen Miranda poster we have ever seen. Incredibly festive and fun, the poster features art by Geleng. Please note that this poster is not an Italian two-foglio, which measures 39x55 inches, but rather is the much less common one-foglio, which measure 28x40 inches. Expertly linen-backed.
