    Description

    Tantansai konomi Tachibana Kōgō (incense container) by Michiba Sōkō 道湯宗廣 for Japanese Tea Ceremony. Michiba Sōkō 道湯宗廣 was born into a lacquer family and was taught the technique of lacquer by his father. He has been obsessed with the difficulty and wonder of lacquer for almost half a century. Dimensions: ~L.4" x W.2 3/4"x H.3/4". Comes in original wood box with hakogaki. Condition: excellent, like new.
