    Description

    STAR TREK, has any other scif series had the impact this one did ?  I grew up on the series and old enough to watch when originally aired, even though at the time preferred LOST IN SPACE !!!  As soon as Trek cons appeared in Dallas I started going...1st was in 75 with George Takie and Nichelle Nichols. Next was Leonard Nimoy around 77 I believe at a car show !  He was promoting IN SEARCH OF... In 78 met William Shatner at a laser light concert and James Doohan that same year at a con....finally in 79 the year of the 1st TREK film was Walter Koenig and Grace Lee Whitney at separate cons. And last but not least was DeForest Kelley at a TOYS R US to promote the film. So happy I met them before the film series began...They were all very kind to their fans and those who have passed on are muched missed.  Selling to pay essential bills.
