    Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Frank Borzage's celebration of the WWII serviceman's night club,
    Stage Door Canteen
    . The movie revolves around a young soldier on a pass in NYC who visits the famed night spot and finds romance with a young hostess

    In the meantime, he is treated to an array of entertainment from some of the greatest stars of Broadway and Hollywood.
    This poster is from the first release of the
    movie in Belgium in 1947, shortly after the end of the war in Europe. It is printed on the reverse of a WWII ordnance map in order to conserve paper and features wonderful artwork that is unique to this Belgian release poster which rarely comes up for sale or auction. It is in truly excellent condition for a poster of its age.
