Here is a beautiful original Belgian movie poster from the 1st release of the second
Road To
comedy,
Road To Zanzibar
. Stranded in Africa, Chuck and his pal Fearless (Crosby and Hope) have comic versions of jungle adventures featuring two attractive con-women.
This poster is from the first release of the
movie in Belgium after the end of the war in Europe (probably 1948), It does have a few condition issues, but still displays very well as is. This poster seldom comes up for sale or auction and features beautiful artwork that is unique to this Belgian release poster.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN / SIZE: Belgium  14" x 19"
CONDITION:
Good Trimmed Folded Condition. Partially trimmed top white border has remnants of cello tape. Additional tape remnants in bottom corners. A number of small tears in surrounding borders, 4 of which slightly extend into artwork area. A small hole in the "Y" in Dorothy. Tax stamp affixed in lower left. Overall yellowing to the paper. The artwork is still vivid and intact. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 17 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
