Japanese Release Poster - B-2 Japan Size - Approx.
20.75" X 29" - Most US films were released a bit later in Japan. This an original late forties or early fifties poster from it's first release in Japan!

It was Chandler's first original screenplay.
I have never seen this poster up for auction in the decades I have been collecting posters! Beautiful image of Ladd holding gun with Veronica Lake!
This poster image is different from the US or European posters which show Alan Ladd with a cigarette.
Instead, this Japanese poster design picked up from the window title card art of Alan Ladd with a gun!
There is no restoration on this poster, please see photos for condition, creases, tears etc...
There are some pin holes and there is slight wear but over all in really nice shape.
Once linen backed it will look stunning!
