Rare - Reflector 6H30P-DR Supertube, BAT branded, date code 9112 (used).
This tube was one of the initial stock imported by Balanced Audio Technology in 1992, after which no more of this production were made. BAT co-branded these tubes so you can be sure of authenticity (though of course all the criteria for identification are present - large getter, flaps of uniform color, no lettering under lower mica, square-ish spacers, etc. along with the Reflector symbol and date code).
I saved this tube, as a working spare, from a BAT SE amp when retubing per recommended schedule, which was determined by other tubes (drivers, power tubes, current sources). My current Rex3 amps use new production tubes, so I no longer need this spare. 6H30Ps from this production are famed for their longevity, so It may perform superbly for many more hours. However, I do not have access to a tester, and I cannot predict how long it would perform at its peak. So I'm pricing this to reflect possible use as a spare in gear that uses other 6H30P-DRs (to avoid changing the character by subbing new production tubes) - or for reference, experimentation, etc.
Truly an exceptional device, critical for the right application. Sold as is.
