This wonderful Antique TAKOTSUBO is rare with a very large number of barnacles attached to it.
All the way to the bottom!
Height : 22.5cm (8.9") Weight : 1870g (66 oz)
Beautiful and Very unique old Takotsubo (Octopus Trap) from Japan.
Age : Early 1900s

The bottom of the TAKOTSUBO is covered with barnacles!!
A real find for the collector of Mingei and Okimono.
Would make a very unique vase or ornament.
Very good condition.
There is no serious damage.

The barnacles on this octopus pot were naturally attached in the ocean and not fixed with glue.
I pack them carefully, but please understand that there is a possibility that they may peel off slightly due to vibration during transportation.
