Quad Set of RCA, Made in the USA, 6080WA dual Power Triodes, used and tested circa 1960/70s.  An ideal and highly sought-after dual Triode output power tube. The 6080 is two power triodes in one envelope, so in push-pull, each tube is capable of outputting 17-20watts. Because these triodes are very low impedance they can be used in both transfer coupled output or in the right circuit in a direct output design without an output transformer. All four tested and closely matched for Plate Emission,  large dual square getters.  These Power triodes have been tested on my AVO, Va=100V, Vg=-40V, Vf=6.3V A New 6080 under test conditions should indicate an emission current of  100Ma and gm=7.0mA/V) and all four 6080s either exceed the specification or a very close to it. Tube 1) Ip=110ma, gm=6.5mA/V, Tube 20 Ip=105mA, gm=6.0mA/V, Tube 3) Ip=100mA, gm=6.3mA/V and Tube 4 Ip=95mA, gm=5.8mA/V. In the right amplifier have a wonderfully open, detailed, and dynamic sound.
