    Here is a beautiful original Belgian movie poster from the first release of the Delmer Daves biographical war hero film,
    Pride Of The Marines
    . It starred John Garfield as real life U.S. Marine Al Schmid who took a heroic stand against a Japanese attack during the Battle Of Guadalcanal an was blinded by a grenade. This poster is from the original release of the film in Belgium. It was most likely released shortly after the war in Europe (1946 or 1947) when movie theatres were reopened. It is in very good to excellent condition and features outstanding portraits of both Garfield and Parker, artwork that is unique to this Belgian release poster. It seldom comes up for sale or auction and would make a great addition to anyone's classic war movie poster collection.
