    Description

    One, Western Electric WE-216-A tube, with the "tennis ball" glass envelope. This is a very early 216A tube, which was a rebranded 208A tube, with glass arbor support.  You can see the 208A designation under the XXX marks. Metal base, original metal finish, firm base, good, glass tip at the top of the bulb. All internal structure is solid, without rattle or cracks. The tube has filament continuity and is for DISPLAY only, as the emission is not usable.
