One, new in original box, Sylvania 6U5, magic eye tube. There are two tubes available, however the listed price is for just one. The 6U5 tube designation started in the late 1930's as the 6H5 tube.  In a year or two, the designation became known as the 6G5/6H5 type.  Soon after, it became known as simply the 6G5 type, then postwar, it became known as the 6U5/6G5 type and then by the mid 1950's, solely as the 6U5 type.  The 6U5 type can therefore be used in all applications calling for the 6U5, 6U5/6G5, 6G5, 6H5/6G5, and the 6H5 tubes. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated, just to make sure. Also tested in a 1930's Stromberg Carlson radio for brightness and focus. Firm base, excellent silvering. A magic eye tube is almost never worth buying used- as they were almost always removed from service for brightness issues. The tubes manufactured in the mid 1970's and are real US made Sylvanias.
