    Description

    One, Cunningham CX-380, the #80 tube with the balloon/globe glass bulb. The CX-380 tube is of course the exact equivalent of the UX280/UX-280, 80,  180, and 280 tubes. Black plates, engraved logo base. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated.. Firm base, excellent silvering. Tube tests at 135-130 where pass/fail is 80. New in box #80 tubes usually test 145+/- 5, so this is quite strong. These are relative numbers and do not indicate percentages. I rarely sell globe/balloon #80's, especially RCA or Cunningham's- because almost every one that I find is gassy- and I'll bet that is true of most that you see on ebay.  This tube has no gas and it doesn't light up blue in the region between the filament and plates when tested.
