Matched Quad of RCA Type  6973  Halo Getter Beam Power Audio Tubes
.
These tubes are New Old Stock in original boxes.
These are made in USA.
This is my last group of this tube type. While not 100%, they are still very strong tubes and are well matched.
These were tested on my Hickok TV-2C/U and it gives gM in % of full rating.
I calibrated the tester using the method of plate current change versus grid voltage to give you mutual conductance readings directly in mA/Volt.
I also took plate current measurements on each tube.
All pass the gas and leakage tests with flying colors.
Settings are from the RCA tube data sheet as follows:
Vplate = 250, Vscreen =250 volts, Vcontrol grid = -15 volts
All voltages were measured when the tester was in the "Test" mode, under full load.
Specified gM = 4.8 mA/V, Specified Plate Current = 46 mA
Tube 1 gM = 3.84 mA/V, Plate Current = 36.6 mA
Tube 2 gM = 3.94 mA/V, Plate Current = 33.8 mA
Tube 1 gM = 3.94 mA/V, Plate Current = 33 mA
Tube 1 gM = 3.94 mA/V, Plate Current = 31.3
mA
All tubes are 68% or better for emission and 80%
or better
for gM.
These tubes are as closely matched as you can find so I decided to post them as a quad.
These carry my 90 day in-service
warranty
as well.
