MATCHED QUAD ECL86 / 6GW8 TUNGSRAM / MATCHED BY ROETEST V10 CURVES / NEW IN BOX /4 Pcs.
This is a matched QUAD of ECL 86 TUNGSRAM NOS tube, FOUR tubes with the same parameters. The tubes are unused, never inserted in socket except for the testing procedure described below.
In the pictures you can see an example of data for few tubes, all QUADS available are high accuracy tested and selected with same 1 % differences for plate current, transconductance and identical curves.
In the testing process many tubes were heated at once separately for 20 - 40 minutes and moved hot to the tube tester socket, long time heating reveals gassy tubes and increase the accuracy of measurements.
All tube are from the same bulk box with 50 tubes, they were first matched for same plate current and transconductance and for pairs resulted were analyzed curves. For the best match the curves must be superimposed, one can barely see that are two curves there, this means 1% differences for the entire working range.
Tested with Roetest V10, a wonderful german machine for testing tubes, it shows everything about a tube, "the Rolls Royce between tube testers" [emissionlab quote].
