Here is a beautiful original Belgian movie poster from the first release of the MGM classic,
Lassie Come Home
. The film starred Roddy McDowall as a Depression era Yorkshire lad whose beloved collie is sold to a wealthy Scottish Duke. The dog sets off on a long trek to be reunited with her original young master. This was the first of seven films produced by MGM to feature the loyal and fearless collie, Lassie.
This poster is from the film's original Belgian release soon after the end of the war in Europe, probably 1947 or 1948.
The beautiful artwork is completely intact and in very good condition. It is unique to this Belgian release poster. This poster doesn't come up for sale or auction often.

CONDITION:
Very Good Untrimmed Condition. Slightest of yellowing to the paper. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 23 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
