A very nice-condition Finnish movie poster for the 1941 movie A WOMEN'S FACE starring Joan Crawford, Melvyn Douglas & Conrad Veidt.
The film premiered in Finland in
March 1945
with no further theatrical re-release.
Slightly outside the usual, standard Finnish A2,  measuring approximately 16." x 23"
Printed by Kirjapaino Oy, no artist signature.

. I have been unable to locate another example of this poster to compare it with and so I hesitate to describe it emphatically as a first-screening poster. It seems to me to be better quality than wartime standard but on the other hand if it was a film which was heavily promoted by the studio (MGM movie-posters tend to be better quality than those of other distributors in Finland) then it could well be.
Whatever the case it is definitely a contemporary movie poster and an extremely rare item.
Condition: C8, Fine
No pinholes or other obvious signs of mounting - an unmounted example .
In astonishingly clean condition, no nicks or tears.
The chief condition issue with this beautiful poster is that it has been both folded and then stored carelessly so is noticeably rippled at the moment. The folds may resolve under glass or with linen backing.
