    Description

    Japanese Vintage/Antique 4 Panel Folding Screen (Byobu). Measures 25”x49”.
    Traditional Japanese screen, with lovely painting of persimmon branch. Most likely from mid 20th century. I believe it was made in occupied Japan, which would put it in the late 1940s or early 1950s. Condition overall is very good.
    There is one small tear in the back of one of the panels, and an old repair on another panel (both pictured).
    I have owned it quite a few years, and it has been hanging on my wall in the living room. I am only selling this because I got a larger one. A beautiful and tranquil addition to any room.
