Era:18-19th c (Edo priod)
A rare item actually used in an esoteric temple.
Old china or an incense burner would make a wonderful addition.
The vajra board is placed on the platform or table where the practice is conducted, and is used as a platform to hold the vajra bell and vajra pestle. Usually, it is made in the form of a tripod attached to an irregular, almost triangular, four-sided vajra board.
