    I've heard that it dates from the late Edo period to the early Meiji period.
    As you can see in the pictures, there are some missing pieces and damage, and some parts have become loose due to nails coming loose.
    Other issues include dirt, cracks in the wood, and tilting due to aging (although I don't think it will affect viewing or display).
