Irwin Plastics Corp., New York, N.Y. USA
and is
stamped with their raised logo
on the back (as shown). Irwin Cohn started his styrene toy plant, Irwin Corporation, at 27 West 20th St., New York, N.Y. in 1922 (see cardboard tag for
reference only
) also in Leominster, Ma.* and closed in 1973 after producing one of the largest assortment of blown celluloid and plastic baby toys in the world. This toy is from an extensive collection of salesman's samples obtained from the closed factory and was used as one of their models in the factory. Other Irwin rattle toys shown are all
listed separately
and also
not included
in this listing. No manufacturer's tag is included. We also have this item in pink or red (as shown) without the attached ball. "
