Next up is this beautiful original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Leo McCarey's classic dramatic musical comedy,
Going My Way
. Based on a story by McCarey, this film about a young Irish Catholic priest became the biggest box office hit of 1944. It starred Bing Crosby and Barry Fitzgerald and earned ten Academy Award nominations, winning seven Oscars including Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Director. This poster is from the 1st release of the film in Belgium immediately after the end of WWII (probably 1946 or 1947). The artwork is beautiful and unique to the Belgian poster. It doesn't come up for sale or auction very often and would make a great addition to anyone's classic movie poster collection.

CONDITION:
Very Good Condition.  Untrimmed top white border. A few extra fold lines (folded in 8 rather than 4).  This poster has been stored flat for over 12 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
