Up for bids is an unbranded globe style, type 47 amplifier tube in a Tung-Sol type 47 box.
Construction includes a box style black plate, an early triangular mica spacer, plate support rod, an early large foil style getter and tight base.  There are no loose particles inside the tube or base.   "247" is faintly stamped inside the top of the tube.
This globe style, type 247 tube is electronically equivalent to any 47 or PZ type amplifier tubes.  The globe style, type 247/47 tube was introduced in 1931.
It was tested for transconductance (Gm), noise, gas, and shorts
on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/U tube tester using a digital meter for greater accuracy.
The TV-7/U minimum recommended value (65%) for the 47 is 50 (Gm=1250).
