Description
Please be sure to review all my other auctions after you have looked at this one! I will be listing a broad and diverse range of vintage communications and technology items, related books, periodicals and ephemera... Something for everyone! Here you are bidding on a scarce, Developmental Western Electric Triode Vacuum Tube With WE Lab Serial 65066. It has a good filament!
I am guessing this is probably part of the Type P development which resulted in a small batch of VT3's for the Signal Corps and ultimately led to the Type N and the WE215...
Internal construction is unusual and excellent! Press is marked "41711" and "106". The anode is a box plate about 7/16" square while the grid is a 5 x 2 planar, ladder type structure with an interlaced filament. I have only seen this interlaced type filament on one or two other early WE tubes! I have tried to give you a view with the photos... The WE Lab marking on the glass is clean and sharp.
I have tried to take good pictures to indicate the physical condition! Ask if you have any questions...
If you collect Western Electric vacuum tubes, this is a must for you! It is quite extraordinary!
Shipping weight will be about 2 pounds.
I will pack all items properly and with great care. I have been shipping these kind of vintage items worldwide since the late 1980's. Buyers are responsible for shipping, insurance and material costs and any applicable duties. I usually can ship within one business day after receipt of confirmed payment.
International customers are very welcome! Bid with confidence...international shipping is not an issue!
