Offered here is a very nice numbered and autographed lithograph of basketball hall of famer David Thompson by impressionist artist Harrison Rucker that is 22 "w x 29" h. The subject David Thompson former All NBA player and one of the top players in the history of college basketball.
The somewhat surreal impressionist image is autographed and numbered 499 out of 2309. The image depicts Thompson soaring above the rim to complete his famous alley oop in college. Dunking was not allowed in the college basketball in 1974 the year Thompson's team won the NCAA tournament, stopping UCLA and John Wooden on the way. The piece is signed by David Thompson who also writes HOF 96, 74 Champs and All Century Team . The piece does display a horizontal crease you can see in the scan and some edge chipping. It would frame nicely. The litho will be rolled up and shipped in a hard tube for safety .
Also included 1977 David Thompson Flip Book. This was at the height of his fame in the NBA and shoes his signature dunk as you flip through the book. It is in great shape and with great color, clarity and the original gloss. All the pages are intact and look fantastic
