Listing Title:
CASE: 12 Impact ® ClearVu ® Encore ® Liquid Soap Dispenser 9330 Ser. White 30 oz
This listing is for these units sold in sealed box "case lots" of 12 (see open box showing 12 units inside; that opened box is not included in the inventory being sold through this listing).  If you want less than 12 soap dispensers from us, please find our other listing, which was posted earlier in the same day as this listing was, for sales of 11 or fewer single, "by the each", dispensers (because if you buy a case lot of 12 here, you'll pay less per unit than by buying 12 "singles" on that other listing).
I've Researched These Dispensers On-Line and By Calling the Maker; Please See Comments Below About What These Dispensers (Despite Claims by Other eBay Vendors) Really Can, and Can't, Do:
As usual when creating a listing on eBay, I looked first at other listings from other vendors for this Model 9330 soap dispenser, so that I wouldn't charge too much to be competitive, and so that I'd learn something about these rather than just read the printed instructions that came with them.  Rather than simply copy what I found other eBay sellers saying, and especially because the instructions were actually designed to be packed with 2 different model soap dispensers with different features, I actually called the manufacturer ("Impact") twice to be sure I'd get things right.
I found that most other vendors for this Model 9330 were making serious mistakes in their listings about it.  One big mistake several have made is to say that this model can dispense "foamed soap".  Some parts of the instructions aren't 100% clear on that, but when I called the manufacturer to be sure, I was told this model can't generate foam-style soap onto your hands, no matter what kind of soap is loaded into their tanks.
Other sellers simply made claims that they guessed at, such as that it's supposed to be OK to use the Model 9330 to dispense hand sanitizer, even though nothing about that use is mentioned in the instructions packed with the Model 9330, or on the maker's web site.  Once again, I was told when I called the maker to ask, that not only did the maker not advise users to use these to dispense anything other than soap, but that the most commonly used kind of hand sanitizer these days -- the kind that, per the Centers for Disease Control, needs to have a high percentage of alcohol in it to kill the virus that has killed hundreds of thousands of USA residents since early 2020 -- will eventually, maybe in about a year, actually destroy the "seals" inside the dispenser, so that if the dispenser by then even still works at all, it's going to keep dripping hand sanitizer between uses and leave a mess as well as waste the product.
Some of those listings make other mistakes as well, such as claiming that the 9330 has a 46 ounce tank, when in reality, the Model 9330 has a 30 ounce tank.
I'm not accusing other sellers of deliberately lying.  I've even seen, in my over 20 years as an eBay seller, one seller's mistakes being copied into other seller's listings (and not just about soap dispensers).  But it really doesn't matter if my competitors are making mistakes on purpose, to try to get you to buy from them rather than from me, or by accident.  Either way, many of those other listings are making claims that I can't, and won't, match, because I took the trouble to find out the truth about these, so that those who buy from me won't have to find out "the hard way".
So please remember:  Look into the differences between what I say, and what other eBay sellers say, about the Model 9330 dispenser, and then contact the manufacturer before you choose whom to buy from.  If I managed to get anything wrong, please let me know and I'll correct this listing.  But I think you'll find that I got things right about these.
This is simply part of the "extra mile" I go through for my customers, so that when they buy from me, they get (a) what they expect and (b) what the product is actually able to do.  All I ask is that you check out what I have to say, before you decide who to buy a Model 9330 dispenser from.
These are recent stock, currently still being made, items:
The shipping labels on all of this product that we recently obtained for resale from the original buyer, each show a shipping date of April 2020.  You can also look these up on the manufacturer's web site to confirm that this is a current model item they still stock and distribute.  Sometimes companies and (in this case) governmental agencies change their minds and don't use something they bought -- in this case, less than a year before they sold them to me and I'm listing them on eBay.
Product Details:
Dispenses about one cc per stroke.
Tested and proven to work with antimicrobial, antibacterial and antiseptic soaps.  (And as per above, these don't dispense "foam.")
Accommodates liquid and lotion soaps, except pumice.  (As as per above, these dispensers aren't designed to dispense hand sanitizer, which if the most common type currently in use is loaded into these will actually ruin them.)
Unique water-resistant top, curved design, and see-thru tank (30 ounce capacity, not 46 ounce as claimed by some other eBay sellers.)
Large push bar is conveniently placed and easy-to-operate.
Removable backplate.
Improved design eliminates soap waste.
Notes About The Listing Photographs:
First photo is a stock photo.  The rest were taken by us of examples in our current inventory.
Second is an open box example of one of the 7 cases of these that we obtained recently.  The "7" you see on the label refers to the fact that that box was one of 7 identical boxes holding 12 soap dispensers each.  Each dispenser is packed in an individual plastic bag.  The photos show that each dispenser is separated from the others by cardboard dividers.  This opened box shown in the second photo is not part of the inventory of 4 still originally sealed cases, out of that shipment of 7 cases, that we have set aside for sale on this case-lot listing.
Instead we will be selling the 12 dispensers shown in that box in the 2d photo one by one (or in batches less than 12) in the separate listing, which started earlier in the same day as this listing will start, where we are selling these dispensers in quantities of 11 or less per sale.  But as we already had one in an opened box, it made sense for us to use the opened box shown in that photo, as the "photo model" to show how all of these were packed 12 to a case (box).
eBay's rules about listing photos (though often violated by eBay sellers) forbid us from adding text or graphics to a listing photo, so we had to include this explanation (that this opened box holding 12 individual dispensers not being one of the 4 sealed but otherwise identical boxes of the same type and quantity of dispensers, to make as sure as possible that no buyer could reasonably claim be be confused about whether the original inventory count on this listing when it will begin of 4 sealed boxes actually includes the obviously already opened box shown in the second photo. (We know from past experience and the shared experience of other eBay sellers that such claims about photos are sometimes made; I am not making this up!)
If, however, you want to buy less than a quantity of 12 of these, we've listed a starting quantity of 24 "singles" of these dispensers in an separate eBay listing that started earlier on the same date as this listing of sealed cases of 12 dispensers per case is to begin.
Ideas about where and how to mount, and maintain, these dispensers:
These come with an adhesive strip for mounting to smooth surfaces such as tiles large enough that the item can be mounted without spanning more than one tile.  This item can also be mounted using fasteners (not included) such as expansion bolts or wood screws, to appropriate surfaces.  If
you have any questions about mounting these to your intended surfaces, please contact us before you buy.
Be sure that you are satisfied with where you plan to mount these as a certain amount of drip and hand spillage is inevitable with dispensers like these, so think ahead of time whether you'll be OK with some drips falling onto, for example, a floor or a top of a sink or countertop surface
Note that these are manually operated dispensers.  No batteries or other kind of power is used for them to operate, meaning they will tend to operate much longer without breaking down than "powered" units do (and will operate where other units dependent on battery or other power sources might fail).  They are also not "touchless", though when I use such an item in a public space I often use an elbow to push the operating bar or button; I'm sure I'm not the only person to have thought of that.
The manufacturer suggests disinfecting the surfaces of these dispensers on a regular basis, as well as periodically taking them apart to clean them for continued reliable operation (as explained in the included instructions).  The generally "rounded" surfaces on these dispensers make them easier to clean and disinfect than products with a more "right angle style" of shapes.
BULK PURCHASE DISCOUNT AVAILABLE FOR THE CASE LOTS BEING SOLD HERE:
As noted at the the top of this listing, I'm offering a built in set of discounts if you buy more than one case of dispensers from this listing in a single purchase (to be shipped together at the same time to a single address)  Depending on how many you buy together at one time for shipment all at the same time to a single address, save 5% to 10% over the single-case-lot price. But if you only need a total of 11 or fewer dispensers, you can buy those through our other listing, which in a manner similar to the bulk purchase option found in the case-lot listing you are now reading, also features discounts if you buy more than one single dispenser through that other listing.
Or, if you prefer, you can submit your own offer, through eBay.  See next section regarding that option.  But note that eBay only allows you to choose either to get the built in quantity discount if you didn't already buy any of these case lots via making an offer.  And of course, the built in bulk purchase option only applies if you buy 2 or more case lots in a single transaction, while you can make an offer through eBay for as few as 1 case.
RETURNS IN GENERAL
:
Please be sure to save all shipping and packing materials (box, padding, etc.) for the length of the potential return period, in the event a return is to take place.  If you have any questions at all about the condition of the materials, however, please contact us first to confirm that we would authorize you to re-use those materials in returning an item to us, since sometimes those materials get chewed up enough during initial delivery that the shipping materials would need to be repaired or replaced before being re-used.
NO-FAULT RETURNS
:  30 calendar day return time, running from date of first attempt at delivery by the chosen shipper to your ebay verified shipping address, if you return these for any or no reason in the same condition as sent, at your expense.  However, if you do something that causes one of these to fail in use, e.g., if you ignore the warnings in this listing and in the enclosed instructions and use the wrong kind of soap (or use something that isn't "soap" at all), that is a good example of something that would not qualify as a "NO-FAULT RETURN" by a buyer.
CLAIMED SELLER FAULT RETURNS:
Ebay lets you return almost anything within 30 days after receiving it, if what was purchased is not what the listing represented it to be, no matter what limitations a seller may try to put on the reasons for return (and many do).  Please see exact details as provided by eBay at the top of this listing.  To the extent that ebay allows it, you must use a shipping class and type that costs no more than what we used to ship your item(s) to you.
SHIPPING AND PICKUP OPTIONS AND STANDARDS:
We feature a one business day "turnaround time" between date of payment and the date we deliver your item to the shipping company.  We are however sometimes able to ship the same business day (on non-holiday Mondays through Fridays) that you pay, if you pay early enough in the day.  And when we use the USPS, which has a "retail postal center" not far from us that is open until 4pm Pacific time, we can sometimes ship on a Saturday, if paid the previous Friday or early enough in the day on that Saturday, even though we could wait until the following business day -- usually the following Monday -- to ship and still be "on time".  We like to ship sooner than we have to, and our feedback often shows that our customers appreciate how quickly we shipped the item(s) they'd bought.
FREE "STANDARD CLASS" SHIPPING (MEANS YOU MIGHT GET A FREE UPGRADE TO FASTER SERVICE):
eBay defines "Standard Class" shipping as meaning a shipping service that is supposed to get a buyer's item to them within 5 business days after being given to the shipper by the ebay seller (plus, in our case, our standard 1 business day after payment handling time between payment date and shipment date).  When you choose "Free Shipping", we will pick from available carriers that will commit to delivering your item(s) to you at least that quickly, based on whichever method costs us the least.  And if that means choosing Priority Mail when doing so is less expensive for us than using a usually slower service such as "FedEx Ground" or "FedEx Home Delivery" that only satisfies ebay's "Standard Class" class shipping standards, we'll automatically "upgrade" you to Priority Mail at no added cost.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING VIA USPS PRIORITY MAIL (EXTRA COST OPTION):
You can decide at time of checkout to pay a flat rate of for a single case of 12, and extra for each then available case in excess of one shipped at the same time to a single address, for us to ship via USPS Priority Mail if you're in a hurry (and want to be sure that we'll use Priority Mail instead of a likely slower -- possibly days slower, depending on circumstances -- alternative allowed by the terms of this listing if you choose the "Free" shipping option).
Please note that we are referring here to "USPS Priority Mail", not the much more expensive "USPS Priority Mail Express" service (formerly known as "Express Mail").
See cost details within this listing, near the top, under shipping details, or wait for ebay or us to send you payment instructions which will include the cost for the Priority Mail option.
Please note also:
Many eBay sellers will set a low "buy" price to attract buyers, but then make it up in the "shipping cost" formula they use -- like one seller who sold a single dispenser of this type on eBay in January 2021 for .99, plus
.49 shipping, likely at least twice their actual cost
-- but that is not what we're trying to do here.  Our attitude is consistent with the fact that we don't "upcharge" you for things like packing material fees, "handling charges", etc., to net more money on the sale that you might not realize would apply when you bought something.  We want to be reasonable here.
So, for some listings, we can set a flat rate charge for the Priority Mail upgrade option for one item, plus $-0- for additional items, and the resulting cost will work well for both buyer and seller.  That can work if the items we're selling are fairly small (note that shippers
in non-flat-rate-carrier-product situations
charge not only by weight, and distance to be shipped, but also by package size).
But that is not the situation here.  We have set up the shipping charges for buying multiple cases here to protect ourselves, since if you bought more than 2 of these case lots for combined shipment, with no formula to raise the total shipping cost when more than one unit is being shipped together, the total cost for us to ship Priority Mail for the same charge as we'd set to ship a single case could get very high in relation to the charge to ship just one case.  But at the same time, we recognize that if you bought more than 1 of these cases, for combined Priority Mail shipping, charging for one plus for each one in excess of one case might result in a windfall for us of excessive shipping charges compared to our actual out of pocket cost.
So if you think we might end up with an unreasonably high total of shipping charges if we are shipping multiple units to you, based on the added cost formula if you specify Priority Mail shipping and are willing to pay more than "Free", the answer is simple:  Wait for us to send you an invoice, rather than pay right after you buy, based on the "payment reminder" that eBay sends to buyers right after they buy
.  If we feel an adjustment to the total shipping cost under our multiple items Priority Mail formula is called for (and we can't calculate that until after you've bought, since we won't know your shipping address until then), we'll adjust downwards the total shipping charge in the invoice option for using Priority Mail, before we send the invoice to you.
FREE LOCAL PICKUP (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY):
PLEASE READ IF YOU WANT TO PICK THIS UP FROM US AT NO CHARGE TO YOU OTHER THAN YOUR PURCHASE PRICE (plus tax if added by eBay):
If you want the Free Local Pickup option,
it is much better to make that choice during "ebay checkout" before
you finish and pay
.  Ebay used to be very strict about that, though apparently it is now possible, if done very soon after purchase, to arrange with the seller for a local pickup, confirmed in writing by messages between buyer and seller so that ebay will be able to review those messages and decide if to approve an after-the-fact decision by the buyer to want the "local pickup" option, rather than the otherwise automatic choice by eBay of shipping if no other choice was made before Checkout was complete, to apply.  Since I almost always my listings set up to have a one business day turnaround time between date of payment and date of shipment (this will sometimes be temporarily seen as 2 or more days, usually because I will be out of town for a few days and won't be able to ship as quickly as usual after a purchase), any post-payment wish to change your choice on this topic has to be done quickly so that I don't get a "ding" on my timely shipments record for not shipping as fast as the listing says I would do, that I then have to spend would could be an hour or more on the phone, trying to get ebay to remove.
And one more thing:  We're a small outfit that does not have an always-available pickup or customer service department, so
pickups must be by appointment only
.
Please don't show up unannounced and assume you can be helped
.  We're reasonable people at this end, however, as our feedback should show, so if we work together, setting up an appointment that works for all should not be difficult. Thanks!
SALES TAX ISSUES: (A) Exemption Claim; (B)  EBAY'S POLICY SINCE JANUARY 2019 REGARDING CHARGING SALES TAX ON INTERNET SALES
:
A.  Exemption:  As of the date of this listing, if you are a reseller qualified for this itemto be exempt from automatic state sales tax collection by eBay (see "(B)" below)
, if you think eBay might automatically add sa
les tax here, please contact eBay and/or check with us before you bid about filing any required exemption forms to seek.  Be sure to take care of this before you pay, since (a) we never see that tax money, so can't refund what we never had, and (b) we are not in a position to be your "advocate" in dealing with dozens of different state laws and requirements to allow sales tax not to be paid.  Note that we can't allow nonpayment to go on indefinitely while you do what you need to do to try to avoid paying sales tax, which is why we are letting you know about this issue before you buy.
B.  For all buyers:  On January 3, 2019, we received the following message from ebay about sales tax collection:
"If you sell to buyers in the US, some states may require you to collect applicable Internet Sales Tax on your transactions. In such cases, eBay calculates, collects, and remits Internet Sales Tax for orders shipped to customers on your behalf. After we collect state Internet Sales Tax, you do not need to take any action. There are no extra charges or fees for this service. Learn more about Internet Sales Tax on our Help pages."
We aren't 'tax experts', but what we think the above basically means is that if you buy something on ebay that you would have had to pay sales tax on, if you'd bought it instead from a local store like a Best B
uy
store, etc., in your state, ebay might now add your state's sales tax to your purchase price. eBay would then send that tax money, that was part of the total that ebay had you pay, to your state.
We never see that money, so can't "refund" it. Even if you told us before you purchased the item, and sent us documentation to prove such exempt status, we as the seller have no way to stop eBay from adding state sales tax to what you bought. And even if you sent us documentation before or after the purchase, as some sellers have done with us in the past, and asked us either to refund the amount of tax paid, or if not yet paid, ask us to custom create an invoice that does not charge tax, our experience is that eBay will add tax anyway.
Some states may provide a way on your tax return forms to request a sales tax refund.
Please contact ebay if you have any questions about these sales tax issues.
