  • Condition: The pair of Japanese late SHOWA ERA (1926-1989) bronze carp statues are in good overall condition. The Japanese artisan signed or marked both of the bronze carp statues but we are unable to read the calligraphy. The smaller gold carp statue is about 8.4cm (3 5/16") high, 22.5cm (8 7/8") long, 8.6cm (3 3/8") wide and 850 grams. The larger black carp statue is about 9.5cm (3 3/4") high, 25.5cm (10") long, 8.1cm (3 3/16") wide and 1080 grams. One or both of the bronze statue(s) has nicks, scuffs, marks, spots of corrosion, patina wear, tarnish, dust, etc.. The photos are accurate.
