. This film is about three United States servicemen re-adjusting to civilian life after experiencing the horrors of World War II. The movie is considered a classic and won seven Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director. This
poster is from the first release of the
movie in Belgium in 1947, shortly after the end of the war in Europe. It is ln very good trimmed condition for a theater used poster with wonderful artwork of all the major players. This artwork is unique to this Belgian release poster.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN / SIZE: Belgium  14.25" x 19.25"
CONDITION:
Very Good Trimmed Folded Condition. Partially trimmed top white border has a restored right corner and a piece of a tax stamp. A few small nicks around the edges of the surrounding borders.  Artwork is vivid and completely intact. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 25 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
