    Antique Kokeshi Doll Japanese Culture Green Paint RARE Daisies with beveled shoulders. This might be the “Hijiori” style of the 11 different Kokeshi styles to identify. If so, that makes it very desirable, valuable & expensive!
    Artist’s stamp on the bottom says “made by Oda” and another signature in red on body translates to “step” ??? Can’t always rely on Google translate app!
    What was once made for children as toys, Kokeshi are now considered high end decor / sculpture.

    Delicate closed eyes with eyebrows. Made from “Itaya-kaeda” Japanese maple hardwood in smooth excellent condition! NO cracks!!
