Description
This is an antique Japanese Taisho Era (c. 1910's) ceramic dish plate.It has a stencil printed design (see enlarged pictures). There is a signature on the lid of the Japanese artist (see pictures 6 & 7).
This plate has been stored in the original box for over a century. The original storage box says " Main Dish Plate 10 serving owned by
Onishi
family"(see last two pictures). There are
several
more identical plates that are available upon request. (please note: the storage box is not included in this listing)
This plate measures 8 1/4" in diameter by 1" tall (21 x 2.5 cm). Having been in storage for over 100
years
