    Description

    Antique Japanese Sendai Stationary Box.
    Beautiful hand made box. One of the brackets on the front right has lifted. The metal piece does not reach the “ nail” it’s photographed. There are scratches of wear and tear and some wood worm holes? This was purchased in the 1960’s as an antique and brought home to La Palma, Ca from Japan. There is no key however the iron hardware is very handsome.there are 6 drawers and two sliding doors. It is 23” wide 18” tall and 11” deep. It’s not heavy although it looks heavy. There is Japanese writing on the back. Beautiful rustic primitive looking piece.
