Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the 1st release of Curtis Bernhardt's drama about love and deceit,
A Stolen Life
. When a woman's twin sister is drowned, she assumes her identity in order to be close to the man she feels her sister took from her years before.
Davis would later play a similar dual-role in the 1960's with
Dead Ringer
. This poster is from the first release of the movie in Belgium shortly after the end of the war in Europe, probably late 1947.
It is in good untrimmed condition for its age though it does have a number of small tears around all the white borders. It features wonderful artwork unique to this Belgian release poster. It rarely comes up for sale or auction and would make a great addition to your Better Davis movie poster collection.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.25" x 23"
CONDITION:
Good Untrimmed Folded Condition.  Untrimmed top white border has remnants of a theater exhibition snipe, a few small tears and minor paper crinkling. There are a number of additional small tears and crinkling of paper in the surrounding white borders. Overall slight yellowing to the thin paper. Artwork is vivid and intact. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 23 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
