    Description

    You are bidding for a matched pair of 6N3P-E soviet tubes, in original boxes, same date III.1984.
    All tubes are NOS/NIB, never used, both tubes and original boxes  look excellent - see pics, like yesterday made, no spots, no signs of moisture, no sign of oxidation.
    6N3P-E is the same tube as 6N3P but higher quality, one mica sustain added inside to resist at vibrations and high g acceleration, maybe for MIG avionics. The most important improvements are life expectation 5000 hours vs. 3000, 6 time lower vibration noise (microphonic), and 1,8W vs. 1,5W maximum power, see photo of original datasheet from the tubes' box.
    I can't feel any differences in sound but many opinions in the field say that 6N3P-E offer much better sound. This is a subjective domain which needs good ears.
    Tubes are first tested using L3-3 tubetester for shorts, k-f leakage current, vacuum (Ig1 measured), plate current and transconductance. Then tubes with same or very closed (max. spread for all 4 triodes of a pair is +/- 2.5%) plate current and transconductance are selected in pairs.
    The accuracy of L3-3 tubetester is about 1.5%, all voltages inside are stabilized, it measure transconductance dinamically with 1400Hz signal and selective voltmeter.
    Conditions for test are: Uf=6.3V, Ug1=-2V, Ua=150V, Uk-f=250V (for testing leakage k-f current), accepted tubes are those that meet datasheet specifications.
