OVERVIEW
The Nokian cLine Van is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vans.
The tire upgrades the all weather traction. It combines the all season compound and the asymmetric tread design to boost the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The compound keeps the rubber flexible in various conditions, while the different tread elements enhance the grip on the road surface in diverse weather. The tread design also features circumferential and angled lateral grooves which channel water and slush from the footprint. This allows the tire to keep its surface contact even in wet and slush conditions, boosting the year round driving safety levels.
The tread design’s better road contact also improves the controllability. The solid center rib and the closed shoulder design work together to keep the tire’s surface contact throughout its drive. The tread design upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability as a result. This upgrades the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread block pattern helps improve the cornering and maneuvering capability. They boost the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while cornering, which increases the driver’s control over the vehicle.
The upgraded traction reduces the vehicle’s fuel usage levels. The tire’s exceptional all weather traction eases the driving pressure off the tire while it is in motion, which significantly lowers the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle’s needed fuel intake to keep the tires in motion. By lessening the rolling resistance, the tire manages to greatly reduce the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. In this manner, the tire ensures the vehicle’s fuel efficient and environmentally conscious driving experience.
Different manufacturing elements work together to extend the tire’s service life. The durable compound utilizes wear-resistant rubber elements which reduce the tread wear rate, while they also prevent the tread’s chipping, cracking and tearing during the drive. The tread design’s asymmetric pattern and flat footprint ensure even pressure distribution along the entire tread area, which actively prevents the formation of irregular wear across the tread area. The stronger aramid sidewalls protect the tire against damage. They prevent punctures, cuts and impact damage from harming the casing and from shortening the tire’s usability. The tread design’s solid center rib features tread wear indicators. Numbers are placed along the center rib that wear along with the tire, portraying the tread left on the tire in 32nds of an inch.
The cLine Van significantly enhances the load durability. The stronger construction features strengthened steel belts and Nokian’s famous aramid sidewall structure. These work together to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. As the tire does not deform under the pressure, it can easily carry and withstand heavy loads with ease while the tires are in motion. This results in the tire’s higher load capacity and safer performing capability.
