The Michelin XZA2 Energy is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle’s all axle positions.
The model ensures great all weather traction. It combines its symmetric tread pattern and all season compound to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road grip. The all weather compound keeps its rubber flexibility in various weather conditions. The ribbed tread’s high-density micro rib edge and wavy rib sipes increase the grip the tire has on the road surface. They upgrade the tire’s performance throughout the year and ensure a firm road contact at all times. The model improves its water and slush dispersing capability with the wide circumferential grooves. In this manner, the tire actively resists hydroplaning and boosts the wet and winter weather performance.
The tire guarantees a lengthened tread life. The special ribbed tread design, with the solid shoulder ribs, maintains the tire’s contact with the road surface. This enhances the length of the tread life and the model’s usability. The optimal road contact enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formation of irregular tread wear on the tire’s surface. Furthermore, the tire’s compound is wear-resistant, which slows the tread wear rate down significantly. The longer lasting even tread wear extends the model’s service life.
The XZA2 Energy offers great controllability. The optimized all weather traction and the tire’s constant road contact increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability greatly. The better contact with the road surface upgrades the tire’s response time and accuracy to the driver’s steering commands, while it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting it. The better overall control enables the driver to confidently maneuver the vehicle throughout the year.
