OVERVIEW
The Suretrac Sierra Radial A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire promotes excellent all terrain traction. The aggressive tread pattern features polygonal blocks, zigzag sipes and a high void ratio which work together to boost the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction throughout the performance. These tread elements allow the tire to enhance the versatile terrain traction, enhancing the forward motion on various terrain surface conditions. The tread design also enhances the deep mud and loose dirt traction, improving the versatile terrain performing capability. The tread design also keeps the footprint clean by eliminating mud, snow and rocks from the footprint. This avoids stone retention from harming the casing, while mud and snow cannot block the surface contact. The result is a secure on- and off-road terrain traction at all times.
The tie-bars between the tread blocks secure the footprint, which enhances the surface contact while the tires are in motion. The maintained road and terrain contact allows the tire to enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block pattern with the zigzag pattern enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, optimizing the cornering ability and power. This combination greatly increases the driver’s better control over the vehicle throughout the performance.
The stability of the footprint also significantly boosts the length of the usability. The tie-bars of the footprint secures the tread elements, allowing the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The evenly spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking effectively avoid irregular wear formations. On the other hand, the durable compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility, actively avoiding premature wear formations along the footprint. The slower and even wear greatly improves the overall service and tread life.
The all season compound and the ideal tread design also enhance the all weather traction. The durable compound optimizes the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, enabling the tire’s summer and winter weather applications. The tread’s block and siping placement work together to improve the grip on the road and terrain surface in dry, wet and winter weather conditions, by providing additional biting edges. During the tire’s on-road performance, it enables the tire to channel airwaves through the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning and further boosting the wet weather performance.
The Sierra Radial A/T promotes exceptional comfort levels during the drive. The tread design manages to channel airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread elements. In this manner, the tire prevents sound wave formations, avoiding road disturbances from reaching the vehicle’s cabin. As a result, the passengers’ driving enjoyment is not ruined and it guarantees a quiet driving experience.
