OVERVIEW
The Ironhead IAR220 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The model was made for all axle positions on the vehicle.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread design with the micro-siping pattern of the groove walls works together with the all season compound to boost the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The tread’s siping placement improves the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges, ensuring the tire’s forward motion throughout the performance. On the other hand, the stronger compound elements enhance the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, optimizing the summer and winter traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather performance.
The symmetric ribbed tread design enables the tire to improve the controllability. The maintained road contact enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, boosting the overall handling. The ribbed pattern boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The strengthened internal structure allows the tire to keep the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. In this manner, the tire greatly improves the load capacity, upgrading the load carrying and withstanding capability. This combination ensures the tire’s exceptional heavy-duty handling throughout the drive.
The Ironhead IAR220 enhances the length of the usability. The stabilized symmetric ribbed tread design greatly improves the tread life length. The stability with the footprint enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular and premature wear formations, upgrading the overall service life.
